The "Automatically Select Product" feature has been officially renamed to "Shop GMV Max". This change reflects a strategic shift in positioning, evolving the feature from a basic selection tool into a comprehensive, shop-wide advertising solution. Shop GMV Max is designed to optimize total shop revenue through an all-in-one promotion mechanism with guaranteed results.
The ad creation interface has been restructured to prioritize the selection of "Promote Methods" before product selection. This ensures that the workflow is aligned with the specific strategic goals of the sellers The three primary methods are now clearly differentiated:
Previously categorized under manual settings, the Ad Group option is now a primary promotion method on the creation page. This update clarifies the distinction between group-level management and individual product ads, supporting sellers to better understand the benefits of shared budgeting and group efficiency.
The revised sequence of selecting the promotion method prior to product selection enables the platform to offer more relevant "bundled suggestions" for multi-product items. This redesign reduces ambiguity in the creation process and ensures that the strategic advantages of each ad type, particularly shop-wide solutions, are clearly communicated to the sellers.
