What is Auto Budget Increase?

Auto Budget Increase automatically increases the daily budget for your high-performing ads when they are about to reach their daily limit. This ensures your ads continue to run and capture all available traffic, preventing budget depletion and maximizing your ad reach.

How to enable “Auto Budget Increase”?

1. Enter Shopee Ads: From the Shopee seller center homepage, navigate to the Marketing Center and select Shopee Ads.

1. Activate toggle: Turn on the toggle of “Auto Budget Increase” and click the “Confirm” button.

How Auto Budget Increase Works

To ensure that budgets are prioritized for good performing ads, we define the eligibility of ads for auto budget increase as follows:

1. For GMV Max Ads: The ad's ROAS meets or exceeds your set target or the system's suggested target.
2. For Other Ads: The ad's ROAS in the past 24 hours meets or exceeds its 7-day average ROAS.

You have control over how Auto Budget Increase operates through these settings:

Item Exemption: More Control Over Auto Budget Increase

Item Exemption lets you exclude up to 10 Individual Product Ads from Auto Budget Increase. Excluded products will not receive automatic budget increases, while your other eligible ads continue to follow the existing Auto Budget Increase trigger conditions.

How to manage Item Exemption

1. Go to the Auto Budget Increase settings page and select Item Exemption.
2. Search eligible Individual Product Ads by Category, Product Name, or Product ID, then select the products you want to exclude.
3. Select up to 10 products. After you reach the limit, unselected products cannot be selected until one of the selected products is removed.
4. Select Confirm to save your selection. The same Item Exemption list applies on both regular days and campaign days.

What happens after you update the list

1. Adding or removing a product takes effect immediately.
2. Paused or delisted products remain on the list and are excluded again when they resume delivery; permanently deleted products are removed from the list.
3. If a product changes from an individual ad to an ad group, it is removed from the list. Products that change back to individual ads can be selected again.

Important Notes

1. Manual Budget Adjustments: Manually adjusting your ad budget will not interfere with the Auto Budget Increase trigger conditions or settings. If you have a daily cap of 3 and make a manual adjustment after one auto-increase, the feature can still trigger two more times.
2. Operation Log: All automatic budget increases and resets are recorded in your Ads Admin operation log under new event types: "Auto Budget Increase" and "Auto Budget Reset," with "system" as the operator.
3. Campaign Day interaction with “Campaign Surge”: During campaign days, since “Campaign surge” is also built-in with a budget increase feature, whether the system will follow Auto Budget Increase or Campaign Surge depends on the status of Campaign Surge and ABI:
